With reference to the Colonies
enclosed leave certificate. I have the honor to remind Your Lordships that last winter I applied for four months vacation leave in addition to twelve months leave on half pay. I have, however, only been allowed three months vacation leave, and as no reason has been assigned for disallowing the fourth month, to which I think I am entitled under the Colonial Regulations - lest the alteration may have resulted from an oversight - I now take the liberty of applying to your Lordship for vacation leave for the
